Cultural Aspects In The Use Of Foul Language Among Black Male Teens

Abstract: This is a 6 page paper that outlines a study on the effect and significance of foul language among black males between the ages of 14 and 18. The hypothesis of this study states that 'foul' language by secondary school level black males is culturally derived and is an accepted defense mechanism to 1) overwhelming incidence of violence and 2) cultural differences in definitions of family and gender roles. Bibliography lists 28 sources.
